Eclipse IDE 2022-03 Released
Improved Tools and Support for Java EE Development

The Eclipse Foundation is pleased to announce the release of Eclipse IDE 2022-03, the latest quarterly release of the popular open source integrated development environment (IDE). This release includes a number of new features and improvements, including:
- Improved support for Java 17, including support for new language features such as sealed classes and records
- A new Java EE perspective that provides a tailored environment for Java EE development
- Updates to the Eclipse Java Development Tools (JDT) that improve code completion, refactoring, and debugging
- A new Eclipse Marketplace Client that makes it easier to discover and install Eclipse plugins
In addition to these new features, Eclipse IDE 2022-03 also includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. For a complete list of changes, please see the release notes.
Eclipse IDE 2022-03 is available for download from the Eclipse website. It is also available as part of the Eclipse Platform Runtime, which provides a complete development environment for Java, C++, and other languages.
